Judy Ann Labbie, born in Welsh on November 29, 1943, daughter of the late Willie Stephen and Fannie Mae (Broussard) Trahan, passed away in Eunice on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the age of eighty.
Judy attended Bell City High and Hayes First Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and tending to her animals. Most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren was what she loved the most.
Judy is survived by her sons, Hilrae "Tiger" and Sharon Mott, Jr., Willie Stephen and Myra Lynn Mott, and Jerry and Sandra Mott; twelve grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Roger Dale Trahan and wife, Kathy, Kenneth "BooBoo" Trahan, Lou Ella Stripling, and Virginia Rose Connor.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emery Labbie; daughter, Cynthia Ann LaSalle; siblings, Nelson Trahan, Jimmy Trahan, Merle LeBlanc, Richard Trahan and Wanda Boulet.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Rev. Gil Broussard, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.in the funeral home and will resume Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers assisting in her service are Brett Bordelon, Jason Mott, Scott Mott, Christan La Salle, Tanner Clark, and Sloan Gary.
