Judith M. LeMense, 84, Green Bay, was taken from us on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Judy was born to the late Earl and Emily (Siebold) Jensen at her grandparent's farm in Rosecrans, WI, on September 14, 1940. She was the oldest girl and grew up with 13 siblings.
Judy was a graduate of Denmark High School. Afterward, she dedicated her career to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, retiring in 1997 from the Office of Provost. That same year, she earned the University Staff Award for Excellence. Judy was a hard-working woman who stayed close to her roots, enjoying time with her family in the country. Throughout her life, Judy was an avid golfer and an outstanding bowler, who was frequently recognized for her consistent high scores. She was well known for her caring and nurturing nature, always putting others before herself. Her affection extended to wildlife and all animals, particularly her special cats, especially Houdini.
Judy was a loving and caring mother to her two daughters: Lisa (Tom) Wachowski of Green Bay and Leslie LeMense of Scottsdale, Arizona, and was the most amazing grandmother to her granddaughters: Whitney, Brynne, Sofia, and Jill (Eric). Judy took great joy in spending time with her great-grandchildren: Crue, Eleanor and Jack; her siblings would include: Ken (Fay) Jensen, Mike (Sandy) Jensen, Carol (Fred) Fels, the late Earl (the late Charmaine) Jensen Jr., Dale (the late Lois) Jensen, the late Darlene Johnson, the late Roger (Bonnie) Jensen, the late Maynard Jensen, Nancy Kane, Barbie (Steve) Rosner, Tina (Steve) Servais, Janet (Jim) Kinjerski and Randy (Annette) Jensen. She was preceded in death by her partner of almost 40 years, Tom Waldorf.
Judy will be dearly missed by many friends, loved ones, and any animal that crossed her path.
Judy's family would also like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and support.
