Judy Ann Tharp Nutter, 76 of Backus Mountain, Meadow Bridge passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at CAMC, General following a long illness.

She was born on October 31, 1948 in Webster County, WV; she was the daughter of the late John Tharp and Laura Clutter Tharp.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Talbert; brothers, David, Hubert, Leslie, Jack and infant brother, Robert Tharp and a sister, Betty Tharp.

Judy loved to attend church when her health allowed her to do so. Her greatest desire was spending time with her family. She will be missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, James "Jim" Nutter; children, Lora (John) Shinaberry, Nolan (Crystal) Talbert and Jason Talbert; children by marriage, Tonya Nutter and Missy Killin; sisters, Mary Bess, Bonnie (Doug) Keener, Barbara (Ray) Johnson, Sally (Charlie) Mullens; brother, John Tharp; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle wirth Pastor Mike Simms Officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 until time of service.
