Judy Ann Waldrop, 71 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her home.
Judy was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on April 14, 1954 to Harry Stanley Boekhout and Gloria Joyce Boekhout. She retired from the Marshall County Public Library and volunteered her time at Marcella's Kitchen. Judy was a member of the Marshall County Book Club and enjoyed reading, scrapbooking and taking pictures.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tommy Waldrop; sons, Doug Hassa (Tamara) of Benton, KY, Alan Hassa (Susan) of Benton, KY, Donnie Waldrop of Erin, TN and Dennis Waldrop of Illinois; daughters, Amy Schwede (Lance) of Louisville, KY and Becky Waldrop of Murray, KY; her mother, Gloria Allen Boekhout of Calvert City, KY; brothers, Gary Boekhout of Pilot Oak, KY and Jack Boekhout of Cranbury, NJ; sister, Nancy Harris of Jupiter, Florida; eight grandchildren, Angel Blackford, Kristina Owens, Taylor Hassa, Caleb Hassa, Faith Key, Jordan Haley, Bryce Hohimer, Alexandra Waldrop; six great-grandchildren, Anabelle Holmes, Blaine Russell, Jayce Morehead, McKenna Morehead, Lucas Blackford and Juniper Key.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Stanley Boekhout.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Vance officiating. Interment will follow at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
