Julene H. Szulczewski, age 75, of Merrill, passed away on, Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Julene was born January 1, 1949 in Wauwatosa, WI to Milo and Helen Topper. She married Patrick M. Szulczewski on Feb. 22, 1975 in Nekoosa.
Julene was a retired hostess. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and photography. She and her husband used to camp and go boating, and hanging out with friends. She loved her springer spaniels and kitties. Her krumkake was a specialty. No matter who you were, she made you feel special.
Julene is survived by her brother, Clark Topper of Scituate, MA; brothers-in-law Daniel Szulczewski of Raleigh, NC, Jerry (Lynn) Szulczewski of Omro, WI; sisters-in-law Jennie (Greg) Ferkey of Wisconsin Rapids, Jeanne Cole of Wisconsin Rapids, Cindy Peckham of Nekoosa, Donna (Damon) Klinger of Wisconsin Rapids, Brenda Szulczewski of Nekoosa, and Sara (Gareld) Morris of Wisconsin Rapids; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special mention of her nephew Jeremy Szulczewski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Helen Topper; husband, Patrick Szulczewski; brothers-in-law David, Robert and Richard Szulczewski; Roger Kauffman, Robert Cole, John Peckham; sisters-in-law Linda and Kathi Szulczewski.
