Julia was born on February 14, 1954, in Jacksonville, NC, the daughter of the late Gerald and Eleanor LaFontaine Demary.

She worked for many years as a housekeeping inspector with Emerald Isle Realty, where she was known for her dedication and attention to detail. Julia took pride in creating comfortable and welcoming spaces for others, but her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her loved ones.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Tionah, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Derek, Elijah, Vivianna, and Maddie; and her great-grandchildren: Kaieah, Kharlee, and Kaieer. She also leaves behind her siblings, Jerry Demary, Donald Demary, Harold Demary, Richard Demary, and Valeda Honig, all of California.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Mildred Catholic Church, with Father Dave Miller officiating.
