Julia Elaine Bryan, age 67, of
Rossville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025. She was born on December 12, 1958, in
Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Julia attended Kirkman High School and was of the Baptist faith. She devoted more than thirty-five years of her life to Waffle House, where she worked as a manager and was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and caring spirit toward both coworkers and customers. Her years of service reflected her dependable nature and genuine love for people.
Julia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She especially loved Christmas, crafting, traveling, camping, and, above all, spending time with her family. She also cherished Sunday dinners with her family and her beloved Yorkies, Tinkerbell and Taz, who brought her constant companionship and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Viola Mosier; and nine siblings, Polly Devlin, Brenda Brooks, Clyde Mosier, Hoyt Mosier, Ronnie Mosier, Ernest Mosier, Billy Mosier, James Arthur Mosier, and Ricky Mosier, grandson, Ryan Campbell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Michael Edward Burden and his wife Crystal, James Ricky Burden, Catherine Elaine Burden, and Tabatha Mae Burden; three stepchildren, Kenneth Campbell, Charles Campbell, and Jennifer Lawson; two siblings, Gary Mosier, and Stanley Mosier and his wife Deborah; eleven grandchildren, Brittney Blue, Haley Creek, Kacy Stanfield, Jonathan Burden, Angelica Creek, Chance Burden, and Kaylee Burden, Justin Downs, Kaitlyn Larson, Madison Millard, and Hannah Crabtree; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory on December 23, 2025. Interment will follow at Calvary Gardens in
Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
