Julia was a loving, caring and giving person who loved God and her family with all of her heart. She was always there for you when needed, even when she wasn't feeling well. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with her grandkids. She was an amazing mother and mamaw and it brought her great joy. She was very excited to become a great grandma.

Julia was always a hard worker. She worked many years at Alphabet Embroidery and loved her real estate career at WebMLS, HER Realty and Howard Hanna.

Julia was a faithful member of Grace Community Church / Declare the Works Ministries for more than 57 years. She served God in praise and worship ministry, teaching, mentoring, cleaning, babysitting and anything else that was needed.

She battled cancer for more than 24 years. She was a fighter who never gave up.  We will miss her dearly but she will live on in our hearts forever. Julia has run the race and finished well.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd.) on Monday September 22, 2025 at 9:30 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.  She will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
