Julia Patricia Hidde

Julia Patricia Hidde, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at her home in Appleton. She was born on March 22, 1933 to the late David and Jesse Wagner in Pontiac, Michigan. In her younger years, Julia enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing and square dancing with her family. She was an active member of her church and volunteered with the United Methodist Ladies and Mission groups.
She is survived by her five children; Bil Lawson, Dutch (Peggy) Lawson, Shawn (Phil Webster) Puls, Kelli (Dane) Carsen and Steve (Nancy) Hidde, grandchildren; Jason Lawson, Dutch (Diana) Lawson, Kelsey (Zack) Thompson, Abby (Josh) Satow, Ben (Amber) Puls, Dan (Tiffany) Puls, Jonathan Hidde, Elisabeth (Matt) Fritz, Natalie Hidde and Caden Carsen. Julia is further survived by great grandchildren; Leah Lawson, Cooper Lawson, Brianna Puls, Devon Puls, Captain Thompson and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Julia in death are her parents, husband Roland "Jack" Hidde, son Scott, her beloved granddaughter, Olivia, daughter in law, Deborah Lawson and her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 325 E. Franklin St. Appleton, beginning at 1:00pm with a short service to follow at 2:00pm. A celebration of life with family and friends will take place immediately after the service, from 3:00 to 5:00pm at Rose Hill Bar, 2206 E. Main St., Kaukauna. At her request, she will be cremated and laid to rest next to her husband Jack at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
