LaVonne E. Hidde

LaVonne E. Hidde, age 88, of Weyauwega went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born on August 18, 1934, daughter to the late Paul and Elsie (Behm) Behn in the Town of Lind. On May 17, 1958, she was united in marriage to Carl E. Hidde.
LaVonne graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1952. She was a secretary at AAL (Thrivent) for 9 years and then spent a short time at Weyauwega Milk Products. She enjoyed many bus trips around the country, but especially cherished spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, was the church secretary there for 30 years and also a member of the Ladies Aid. She touched so many people by her positive attitude, her smile and always lending a helping hand when someone needed it.
LaVonne is survived by her children: Kay (John) Collom, Michael (Angie) Hidde; grandchildren: Amanda (Jeremy) Collom, Lindsay (Rob) Ferg, Brianne (Hunter) Hidde; great-grandchildren: Mataleigh Ferg, Annaleigha Huebner, Jackson LaSure, Malachi Ferg, Kailey Brogaard; brother: Dennis (Shirley) Behn; sister-in-law: Alice Jonely. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol (Bud) Liber and nephew, Kim Behn, brother-in-law, Kenneth Jonely and many other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The Christian Funeral for LaVonne will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with the Rev. Aaron Kristopeit officiating. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A visitation will be held from 9:30-11:15 am prior to the service at the church.
Memorials are preferred to St. Peter Lutheran Church. A special thank you to the staff at Bethany Rehab Center in Waupaca for their care & concern of LaVonne.
