Julia departed this life on January 20, 2025. She was born in Boykins, Virginia, where she attended Southampton High School. She worked and retired from MCV Hospital. Julia became a Jehovah’s Witness and served for 55 years.
Julia had many friends; to include her dear friend, Reaster Wallace, with whom she shared a friendship of many years; and her dear friend, Valeathia Kinney, who took care of her until her passing.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Bertha Johnson and Jean Herbert; her brother-in-law, George Clarke; her nephew, Thurman Smith Jr; along with her nieces and cousins.
Julia will be greatly missed.
