Julia "Judy" Ann Hammonds Obituary
Julia "Judy' Ann Hammonds, 84 of Moundville, passed away at her home on July 26, 2025. Services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Ricky Moore officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Entombment will follow at Memory Hill Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel South on Friday one hour prior to the service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Herman Dupree Moore and Stella Lacey Moore, her five brothers; Billy, David, Elip, Mack and Wayland Moore, sister; Betty Faye Leroy, and great granddaughter; Sadie Ann Roy.
Survivors include her husband; Larry Hammonds, daughters; Belinda Ann Martin (Jimmy), Laural Benn Hammonds, Alice Lee Hammonds, son; Gregory Lebron Day, sisters; Mary Ann Adams (Edward), Wanda Lou Wilson (Hershal), grandchildren; Brittany LeAnn Roy (Josh), Nelson, Grace, Dalton, Alexis, Aleyan, Nevaeh and three great grandchildren; Brooklynn, Colton, and Mason Roy.
Pallbearers will be Larry Thomas, Joshua Roy, Larry Hammonds, Michael Johnson, Randy Mills, and Garland Sellers.
The family wishes to give special thanks and gratitude to Legacy Hospice and a very special thanks to Allison Dixon her nurse and Kelly Hines her hygienist for being so kind and loving for their patient.
