Julia A. "Judy" "Judy" Klunk

Julia A. (Neiderer) Klunk, "Judy," age 85, of Hanover, passed away on July 28, 2025 at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth J. Klunk who passed away on February 6, 2023.

Judy was born in Hanover, PA on December 3, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Rosie (Smith) Neiderer. She graduated from Delone Catholic High School Class of 1957 and attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Lancaster. Judy worked for Shultz Chevrolet, D. Guy Hollinger Real Estate and Insurance, and was a Financial Counselor at Hanover Hospital prior to retiring in 2016. Judy was a longtime parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in McSherrystown. She was an avid Longaberger basket collector, a skilled cross stitcher, and enjoyed collecting antiques. Judy was a devoted wife and mother and she cherished her grandchildren.

She was the loving mother of David B. Klunk and his companion Deb Brenneman, Douglas B. Klunk and wife Lorie and Janelle D. Newman and husband John; the cherished grandmother of Tarin and husband Robert, David Jr., Robert and wife Karli, Aimee and husband Matt, Lindsay and husband Ed, Danielle, Caitlin and husband Zachary, and Jonas. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren Kaylynn, Ethan, Ava, Evelyn, Kenneth, and Frederick; and her sister Diane Hoffman and husband Ray. She was pre-deceased by her great-granddaughter, Michaela Grace Kastner.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing in celebration of Judy's life on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00AM with Rev. Richard Lyons officiating, at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown. She will be laid to rest following the service next to her husband at Annunciation B.V.M. Cemetery in McSherrystown.
