Julia Marsh, age 84, of Kent, passed away on September 4, 2025 at Tamarack Ridge. She was born on February 28, 1941 to Frank and Edith (Baskerville) Marsh in Macclesfield, England. She moved to the United States at the age of 16.

Julia was a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. She attended Bridge Bible Church with her son when she was able. She truly loved Jesus.

She was a lover of animals, especially birds, dogs and horses. She was also an avid Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers fan. She will be remembered for being kind-hearted. She never had an ill word to say about anyone.

Julia is survived by her loving children, Vaughn (Vickie) and Edith Eicholtz; grandchildren, Eric, Geno (Katie), Megan (Josh), Betty (Jarrod) and Sheila (Brian); and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Detmer I. Eicholtz; and her partner, Mike Beno.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305) on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 4pm until 6pm. Her funeral service will take place at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Julia's memory may be made to Portage Animal Protective League (https://portageapl.org).
