Julia A. Miller, 77, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 9:25 am, Monday, September 1, 2025, at The Waters of Wabash West. She was born on July 29, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana, to Emerson Gordon and Julia C. (Spearman) Jones.

Julia was a graduate of Fairmount High School and a graduate of the State Beauty College in Marion, Indiana. She married Gene Alan Miller in Urbana, Indiana on March 4, 1995; he died June 23, 2021. Julia worked as an inspector and tester for United Technology, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Urbana Yoke Parrish, and a former member of the Fairmount Order of the Eastern Star. Julia enjoyed country music, John Deere tractors, her evening devotionals and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Scott (Kylie) Lee of Jonesboro, Indiana, Greg Lee of Wabash, and Brad (Sonya) Lee of Hamilton, Indiana; three step-children, Troy (Jessica) Miller of Urbana, Trisha Miller of Avilla, Indiana, and Angie Helton of Columbia City, Indiana; grandchildren, Josh (Jaliene) Lee of Fort Wayne, Kirsten Lee of Hamilton, Sydney (Kaden Howell) Lee and Elizabeth Lee, both of Jonesboro, and Katelyn (Shane Wirick) Lee of Russiaville, Indiana; great grandchildren, Brantley Schaeffer, Maverick Wirick, and Remington Wirick, all of Russiaville; mother-in-law Naomi Miller of Urbana; and sister-in-law Carolyn (Bill) Lowe of Fairmount, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, daughter-in-law Jennifer Lee, and her brother Kenneth Jones.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is Animal Shelter of Wabash County.

To the Family of Julia Miller.

I grew up with Julia and her brother Kenny from Grade School to the present. We all had lots of fun times while growing up. I have known her all of my life. Kenny, Julia and I graduated in 1966 from Fairmount High School. We are praying for all of her Family.
