Our sincere sympathy to Mary, Barbra, Gail and all the family on the passing of Julia. I have found memories of visiting Julia and Colín at their homes both in Ireland and Boston. Julia was a creative, talented baker and many a morning after I finished night duty in the Regional Hospital Galway Ireland I called to Julia and Colín to have a big slice of Julia´s latest baking and a big cup of tea that I enjoyed so much in Julia´s positive company and her lovely smile. It did not matter what time day or night we visited Julia or Colín we were always welcomed into their kind warm welcomed home. We now pray Julia you are welcomed into heaven with Colín and that eternal rest is granted to you both. Rest in peace Julia.

Rest in peace Aunty Julia. I sat with you ten years ago in Barbara´s house as you regaled me with stories of Boston in the 1960´s with my dad and your siblings and husband Colin of course. Your love for them all was as strong in 2013 as it was in the 1960´s. Your pride in Mary, Gail and Barbara was clear to see and your enjoyment in and love for your grand children was a joy to witness. God Bless aunty Julia
