Julia Ann Paschal

Julia was married to her high school sweetheart, John Thomas Paschal, for 73 years. Together, they lived out their American dream as entrepreneurs owning and operating first the Continental Health Club, then later Paschal International Spa in Knoxville. Julia was bright, resourceful and resolute – character no-doubt developed from a youth spent milking cows and picking strawberries on the farm.
After raising a family, Julia spent her later years raising a garden behind her A-frame lake house in Concord. She was an active member of Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. She also served as Secretary for the Bearden Chapter of The Order of Eastern Star for many years.
For the last four years of her life, John and Julia resided in Autumn Care Senior Living where she remained active and sociable. When asked by staff what her secret to life was, Julia sagely answered: "Hard work."
Julia's joyful spirit persists through her two daughters: Pam Osbon (Ron) and Tammy Harvey (Jerry, deceased), four grandchildren; Lauren Lindsey (Tommy, deceased), Thomas Harvey (Danielle), Ted Harvey (Cassie) and Joshua Harvey (Mary Lynn) and six great-grandchildren; Ethan and Ellie Lindsey, Charles, Grayson, Nellie Rae and Hannah Harvey.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Autumn Care staff who took care of Julia during her illness as well as Dr. G. Edward Newman, her nephrologist, and the hospice staff at Parkwest Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th, 2025, from 11:00am - 12:00pm, with service to follow at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Burial is private.
