Miriam Louise Jones Ross

Miriam Louise Ross, age 88, went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2026, in Farragut, Tennessee.
She was born on July 25, 1937, in Clinton, South Carolina, to parents Charles and Louise Jones.
Miriam earned her bachelor's degree from Furman University. Following college, she devoted her life to education, beginning a teaching career that spanned more than 34 years with Knox County Schools. She touched countless lives through her dedication to children and retired after a long and faithful career.
A devoted member of First Baptist Concord in Farragut, Tennessee, Miriam had a deep love for music and worship. She sang in the church choir for many years, finding great joy in praising the Lord through song.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Louise Jones.
She is survived by her children, Keith Ross of Greenville, South Carolina, and Julie Mich (husband, Alan) of Little River, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Ryan Mich, Kendall Mich, Trinity Ross, and Tanner Wilhelmi; as well as her great-grandchild, Cora Mahnken.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel (11915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37934) with a Celebration of Life service to follow.
