Julia Sadie Saab

Julia Sadie Saab passed away on February 4, 2025 at 6:30PM, surrounded by her two sisters Helen Keyes, Louella Saab, and brother Louis Saab. Born in Methuen, MA on August 14, 1945, to Julia Khoury Saab and Louis Saab, she was the second youngest of 11 children. She was born and raised in Methuen, MA. After graduating high school, she attended MacIntosh Business School where she received a degree as a medical secretary. From there she attended Merrimack College and received a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Julia worked for the Department of Mental Health in Boston, MA for over 36 years as an administrative assistant. She was also a vibrant and loving daughter, sister, friend, and aunt to over 21 nieces and nephews. Aunt Julia was many things to many people. Her character, life, and love can be described by her best friend and younger sister Louella Saab, who has written the following below:
"Julia and I have been very close sisters for our entire lives. The death of my mother drew us together because we were so young. Julia immediately became a caring and loving sister who mothered me even though she was only 2 years older than me. We helped each other and shared everything together. Although we shared many responsibilities by helping our large family to survive after the loss of our mother, we also prayed and played together as children do. We, like our parents and siblings, have a great love for the Father in Heaven, His son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Also, we love the blessed mother who became a mother to us. I will miss my sweet and kind sister very much; but I know that she is in Heaven with our beloved Lord and rejoicing to be with Jesus and our family who preceded her! Julia, I will love you forever!" -Louella
Julia was predeceased by her mother Julia Khoury Saab, Father Louis Saab, older siblings Lillian Keyes, Albert Saab, Florence Hoehn, and Frank "Mickey" Saab, as well as her nephews Steven Hoehn, John Keyes, and niece Ashley Mason. She was also predeceased by the following sisters-in-law and brothers- in-law Rolland Keyes, Ronald Keyes, Al Dragon, Bruce Hoehn, Katherine "Kitty" Saab, Kathleen Saab, and Dorothy Saab. She leaves behind 6 living siblings, Elizabeth Dragon, William Saab, Helen Keyes, Johnny Saab, Louis Saab, and Louella Saab, and two living sisters-in-law, Joyce Saab and Jane Saab as well as many cousins, and over 21 nieces, nephews and spouses who will miss her greatly.
