After moving from East Providence, Julia spent her final seven years in Rehoboth, where she was a dedicated parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church, contributing to the fabric of the community with her unwavering faith and spirit of service.
Djudja's interests were a reflection of her nurturing and creative soul. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as cooking, which allowed her to express her love through the flavors of her native Cape Verdean cuisine. Her hands were rarely still, as she was often found knitting and crocheting, creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones. Julia also had a sharp mind, which she kept active with puzzles and crosswords, a testament to her love for challenges and learning.
