Mary Margaret "Bonnie" King

Mary "Bonnie" Margaret King, 84, of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, March 16, at BID Hospital in Plymouth. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Faucett.

Bonnie was the loving mother of John Faucett and his wife Kelly of Plymouth, Susan Adams of Plymouth and her late husband Todd, Angela King of South Carolina, Kristen Munroe of Rehoboth, and the late Edward King. She was a devoted grandmother to Tommy, Timmy, Tristan, Aidan, Matthew, Meghan, Chloe, Kyle, Cameron, Krystal, Amanda, Jamie, James, William, and Nicholas, and a cherished great-grandmother to seven.

She was the dear sister of Thomas Murphy and Richard Murphy.

Born in Natick on July 12, 1941, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Thomas V. Murphy and the late Muriel A. (Stevenson) Reardon. She grew up in Newton and Framingham and attended Framingham High School and Burdett College.

Bonnie enjoyed a long and dedicated career as an insurance agent, working at A.M. Johnson for 30 years and Kiley & O'Toole for 20 years before retiring at the remarkable age of 82.

She raised her family in Pembroke and moved to Plymouth in 1990. Bonnie loved swimming, golfing, walking, and especially music. She had a deep love for animals-whether horseback riding, caring for her many dogs (especially her beloved Tinkerbell), or giving countless stray cats a warm home over the years. She never met an animal in need without offering a helping hand.

Bonnie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, and she was truly loved by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. (Manomet) Plymouth, on Friday, March 20th, from 9:15 am till 11:15 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Bonaventure's Church, Plymouth, at 11:30 am. Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Natick.
