**In Loving Memory of Julia Marcie Ulmer**
Julia Marcie Ulmer, age 88, of Tavares, Florida, peacefully passed away on September 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 23, 1937, in Orlando, Florida, to Rufus and Edna (Hull) Garvin, Julia embraced life with warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met.
A devoted homemaker, Julia found joy in tending to her garden, where she nurtured not only plants but also the love and memories shared with her family. Her deep faith was reflected in her active membership at Harmony Primitive Baptist Church, a community that held a special place in her heart.
Julia is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her cherished brother, Wayne Garvin. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through her family.
She is survived by her sons, Wendell Ulmer (Kathy) and Michael Ulmer (Leanna), along with her beloved daughter, Rebecca Roberts (Rodney). Julia was a proud grandmother to Brittany Sumner (Forrest), Bethany Honka (Alex), Rachael Van Eijsden (Tijmen), Rebecca Antunes (Carlos), Michael Ulmer (Lauren), Mitchell Ulmer (Holly), and Matthew Ulmer (Dana). Her heart further expanded with the joy of her great-grandchildren, Aiden Sumner, Camden Sumner, Parker Honka, Annabelle Honka, Lars Van Eijsden, Elijah Ulmer, Evelyn Ulmer, Ivey Ulmer, Ezekiel Ulmer, Violet Ulmer, Zoe Ulmer, and Titus Ulmer.
As we celebrate Julia's remarkable life, we encourage all who knew her to share their memories and messages for her family in the guest book below. Her spirit of love and kindness will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
