Merrill Myles Markell Jr.
Age 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by the people he loved most, after a two year battle with bladder cancer.
Merrill was a devoted father to his sons, Justin (married to Emily) and Ryan (married to Abby), and a proud grandfather to Logan, Landon, Owen, and Oliver. He is also survived by his siblings Vince, Troy, and Kristine, as well as his best friend and beloved partner, Therese. Merrill was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill Markell Sr. and Charleen Markell.
Merrill’s life was defined by his deep love for his family, his loyalty to those closest to him, and the joy he found in being a grandfather. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, who will cherish his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support.
A celebration of Merrill’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his remarkable spirit.
