Julia "Judy" Whetstone, 95, of Findlay, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born on July 6, 1930 in Forest, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine (Hagenmaier) Musgrave. On September 30, 1950 she married Arthur E. Whetstone, and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2017.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (Keith) Cramer, Findlay, Linda Whetstone, Findlay, Diane (Mike) Mosser, Findlay, and her daughter in law, Emilee Whetstone, Mt. Blanchard. Eight grandchildren, Charlotte (Juan Carlos) Whetstone, Stephanie (Greg) Bahrey, Kristin (Anderson) Allen, Adam Cramer, Ryan Cramer, Drew (Lana) Mosser, Tori (Casey) Ostwinch, and Alec (Shelby Hart) Mosser, and ten great grandchildren Abria, Elle, Elijah, Eisen, Everett, Brody, Bryden, Jeremiah, Dylan and Noah. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a son, David Whetstone, and a brother, William "Bill" (Jean) Musgrave.
Judy was employed at the Whebs Egg Company, and was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Findlay where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, and a part of the Women's Salad Luncheon. She was a wonderful cook, making angel food cake, cherry and peanut butter pies as well as noodles. She enjoyed camping at Maumee Bay and Mohican State Park and sewing. Most of all she loved her family.
A visitation for Judy will be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church, Findlay on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 11 am until the time of her funeral at 1 pm with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com. The COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay is assisting the family with arrangements.
