Julia "Jill" B. (Berger) Yingst, 90, of New Alexandria, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, in Loyalhanna Senior Suites and Personal Care Home, Derry Township. She was born Nov. 13, 1935, in New Alexandria. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Lillian (Sheffler) Berger. Prior to retirement, Jill worked at Breeze Industrial Products in Tunnelton for 34 years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and especially loved spending time with her friends and family. She had a life well-lived. What we once enjoyed with her we can never lose; memories are timeless treasures. Besides her parents, Jill was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert G. Yingst, in 2001; four brothers, Arthur, Eugene, John, and Paul Berger; and five sisters, Lillian and Anna Berger, Alma Mae Harbridge, Alice Murphy, and Esther Wolcott. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Jill will be held 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, in P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 3 p.m. with Pastor Tony Costa officiating.
