Julia Bell Young, 46, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on January 20, 2026. Born on September 25, 1979, Julia's radiant smile and loving nature touched the hearts of all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Driftwood Academy High School in 1998, Julia's passion for nurturing young minds led her to a fulfilling career at Little Lambs Preschool at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, where she dedicated 25 years of service. From 2000 until 2025, Julia was a cornerstone of the preschool, shaping the lives of countless children with her unwavering dedication and love. Her impact on the Little Lambs Preschool program was profound, as she guided her young charges with a gentle hand and a warm heart, leaving an indelible mark on the community.

She was preceded in death by Clara and Carl Vining (maternal grandparents); Gordon and Marilynn Bell (paternal grandparents).

She is survived by Susan and Gordon Bell (parents); Daniel Gordon Bell (brother) and Ashley Morris Bell (sister-in-law); Caleb Bell (nephew); Jackson Morris (nephew) and Riley Morris (niece); John (Uncle) and Nancy (spouse) Vining; DJ Vining (cousin) and Leah Vining Schultz (cousin); Robert Stokes (fiancé) Easton Smith (God-son).

Julia's interests were as vibrant and varied as her personality. She found solace and joy in the tranquility of her garden, where she cultivated not only plants but also the beauty of nature's simplicity. Her love for the mountains was a testament to her appreciation for life's grandeur, and she often retreated to their serene landscapes for rejuvenation and reflection.

A fervent supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Durham Bulls, Julia's enthusiasm for her teams was infectious, and she could often be found cheering them on with the same spirit she brought to every aspect of her life. Her beloved pets were a source of immeasurable joy, and she cared for them with the same loving kindness that she extended to all living creatures.

Julia's passion for NASCAR races was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of her zest for life and her love for the excitement and camaraderie that came with each race.

Those who knew Julia would describe her as the epitome of love, kindness, and gentleness. Her beautiful smile was a symbol of the positivity and warmth she spread wherever she went. Julia's legacy is one of compassion and caring, and she will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have been graced by her presence.

Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, just as the light of her spirit will forever illuminate the paths of those she touched. Though she has left our sight, the essence of her being will remain a comforting presence in the hearts of her friends, colleagues, and the many children whose lives she so positively influenced.
