Julian C. "Tio" Ramirez

Julian C. "Tio" Ramirez, 90, a lifelong resident of Beaumont, died Monday, June 16, 2025. He was born on April 20, 1935, to Catalina and Luz Ramirez.
Julian had several businesses throughout the years. In his early years he owned and operated a gas station in downtown Beaumont, also WorldWide Utilities in Baytown Texas, and Ramirez Brothers Trucking and RamTex Enterprises, both in Beaumont Texas.
Julian was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He belonged to Baytown Masonic Lodge and was also a member of BF Quicksall Lodge #1370 and Beaumont Lodge #286. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Julian enjoyed hunting and most of all spending time with his nephews.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of fifty-two years, Carolina Castillo Ramirez; daughter, Lisa Ramirez; and brothers Frank and John Ramirez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607.
A gathering on Mr. Ramirez's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2025, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday June 24, 2025, at Broussard's with his interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
