Julian Wynkoop, Jr. passed away in Kingston, NY on August 6, 2025. He was 79 years old. Julian was born in Ellenville, NY on August 2, 1946 to Julian and Edith (Miller) Wynkoop. He attended Rondout Valley School, and lived his whole life in Kerhonkson. He worked for many years as an equipment operator at Barney Millen and Sons in Kingston, until retiring in 2009. Julian enjoyed fishing and hunting and tending to his yard. He loved spending time with old buddies, locals, and friends talking about the Good Ol’ Days.
Julian is survived by his sister, Jane O’Connor of Kerhonkson; children, Ladonna (Alan)Feinberg and Julian Wynkoop III, all of Kerhonkson; step-children, Dennis (Melissa) Fox and Heidi Fox of Kerhonkson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Nina L. Wynkoop; son John J. Wynkoop; Daughter, Crystal L. Wynkoop; and son-in-law, Joseph Bauer.

A memorial visitation will be held at Humiston Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14 from 12:30 - 2 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM.
