Julie Bohanick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Inc. - Wernersville on Aug. 6, 2024.
Julie Ann Bohanick, 46, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2024. Her departure was peaceful and she was surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Julie was born in Reading PA on November 1, 1977 to Gary R. Bohanick & Charlotte A. Bohanick (Odeitus). Julie graduated from Conrad Weiser High School in 1995 and earned an Associate's Degree in graphic design from Northampton Community College. She worked in a variety of creative disciplines over the course of her life and her artistic abilities shined through in all she accomplished as a creator.
Julie was blessed with two children, Isaak Lee Jones (25) and Caleigh Carmen Sarlot (10) who were her entire world. Julie loved her people fiercely-especially her children. As a little girl all she ever really wanted to be was a mom-and she was an absolutely incredible mother to her children. Always loving unconditionally and never wavering in her endless supply of loving support.
Julie's spirit was fiery, fun-loving, spontaneous and always full of life. She was a friend to many and was known as a person who would give endlessly as well as step up to get things done when needed. Her volunteerism touched many lives throughout her local community and her unwavering commitment and compassion to causes near and dear to her heart is notable. One such cause was the Gift of Life Organization which she was involved with for nearly twenty years. Not many people can say that they've been an organ donor twice in their lifetime, but Julie was. She was a living donor (liver) to her son Isaak in 2006 and selflessly improved various lives with her "gifts" upon her passing. Her tremendous impact is bittersweet.
Julie was preceded in death by her father Gary R. Bohanick, grandfather Leo Bohanick, grandmother Katie Bohanick and several uncles, aunts and cousins. She is survived by her son Isaak, daughter Caleigh, mother Charlotte Bohanick, brother Gary B. Bohanick (Kelly), sister Brandee El-Attar (Karee), nieces and nephews (Caleb, Owen, Sophee, Ethan & Emily) as well many uncles, aunts, cousins, and life-long friends. Julie was a loving, devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was loved deeply by so many and will be desperately missed.
Services will be held on Saturday August 10th at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave. Wernersville, PA. Visitation with family from 12pm-2pm. The service begins at 2pm with light refreshments to follow. A celebration of life to honor Julie's memory is being planned in October as fall was her most favorite season (details forthcoming).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Go Fund Me established to support the needs of her children during this devastating loss and into the future. What would bring her the most peace is knowing that her precious babies are taken care of. Thank you in advance for your love and generosity.

My prayers and thoughts are with her family. My daughter(Lisa) played field hockey with Julie and went to school with Gary, her brother. Julie was always a sweet loving young lady. There are no words. Just remembering all the times in the summer at the playground and watching the field hockey girls.
