Julie Carpenter Obituary
Julie Carpenter, age 64 of Otisville, died Saturday, February 28, 2026. A private burial has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Julie was born in Flint, MI on May 21, 1961 to Stanley and Madeline Vanwormer. Julie enjoyed traveling, golfing, and collecting antiques, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Maranda (Jason) Banyas and Malinda (Scott) Carpenter; grandchildren: Shane, Tyler, Madeline, and Paige; siblings: Mark (Rhonda) Vanwormer, Margaret (Dawson) Corner, Alfred (Ilona) Crowder, and Kevin (Theresa) Crowder; and significant other, Eric Laurens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carpenter; parents; stepmother, Bev Vanwormer; and sister, Judy Crowder.
