Mrs. Julie Colombo Farmer, age 80, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October
6, 2025. She was born on December 15, 1944, in Rome, Georgia. She was the daughter of the
late Joe Colombo and Vera Norris Colombo.

Julie was a lifelong resident of Cedartown Georgia. She graduated from Cedartown High School
in 1962. She would later earn her degree from Jacksonville State University and her master's
degree from the University of West Georgia. She began her teaching career at Cedar Hill Jr
High school before moving on to Cedartown High School in 1982. Her teaching career would
span over 30 years. Touching the lives of many. Students that would fill her community with
future Attorneys, Physicians, Coaches, Clergymen, Businessmen and women. As well as
countless numbers of future teachers and educators like herself. After retiring from her teaching
career, she worked for Petit Sophisticate and David's Bridal in Kennesaw. After fully retiring,
her joy was found in spending time with her family and attending as many sporting events as
possible that her four grandchildren were involved with. She also loved being a homework-aid
and proof-reader for her grandchildren throughout their high school and college careers. Her
passion for teaching never left her soul. Her Love and devotion for her family and friends would
go unmatched. She truly lived, a life well lived.

Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bob farmer; son, Chris Cromer (Sherri);
grandchildren, John Cromer (Abby), Drew Cromer, Patrick Cromer, and Caroline Cromer; Her
sister Susie Wherry (Danny) along with niece Merritt and nephew Matthew. Her sisters in law
Beth Trammell (Dennis), Jane Ann Curry (Trip) and Brother in-law Steve Farmer (Rhonda).
Other nieces and nephews from the Farmer family. Many cousins from both the Colombo and
Norris side as well as her 95-year-old aunt Lovall Davis.

Mrs. Farmer is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Rosemary. The Family would like
to give a very special thanks to Brittany Grahm, Charlie Todd and close family friend Ivan Ray
for their incredible act of kindness and support during Julie's health battle over the past months.
A very special thanks to longtime friends Claudia Tillery and Bobbi Dill Grogan for their lifetime
of friendship.
