Julie Parisot, 63, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, while in New York. She was preparing to return home to Louisiana after spending several months with her daughter's family.
Born on August 17, 1962, in
Seattle, Washington, Julie was the daughter of Frances "Betty" Jones and Ronald "Ron" Parisot. She was one of five children born and raised in
Seattle, Washington alongside her siblings Larry, Gigi, Dan, and Bob.
On February 25, 1984, Julie married Andrew Lynch, and together they shared 37 beautiful years of marriage and raised three beloved daughters. As the wife of an Air Force Airman, Julie's life was filled with travel and adventure. Over the years, she went above and beyond to create loving homes for her family all over the world. In 2016, she settled in Bossier City, Louisiana where she remained until retiring in 2025.
Julie dedicated 24 years of her career to serving as a devoted Department of Defense civilian employee. She spent the last ten years of her career at the Mental Health Clinic at Barksdale Air Force Base. She cared deeply for the people she worked with, and her coworkers became like family to her. They quickly became an integral part of her life; her warm presence made a lasting impact on everyone she interacted with.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Julie was a devoted member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, Louisiana, where she generously gave much of her time in service to others. She spent much of her time volunteering and tending to the gardens around the church. She was known for her selflessness, kindness, and warmth. In her eyes, no one was ever a stranger; she possessed a natural gift for making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and accepted.
Julie found endless joy in gardening, crafting, DIY projects, camping, hiking, and being outdoors. She loved to cook and was always excited to try new foods and recipes. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, though she welcomed any opportunity to decorate and brighten her home. Her favorite colors were yellow and teal, fitting the brightness she brought into the lives of others. She also dearly loved her pets, especially her miniature schnauzer, Sawyer, and her bobtail cat, Griffin.
Above all else, Julie's greatest pride and joy were her daughters and her eight grandchildren. She loved them fiercely and would have done anything for them. Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jones and Ron Parisot, and her infant brother, Bruce Parisot. She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Campbell, Kirsten Little, and Kelly Thompson; her six grandsons, Jeremiah Campbell, Asher Campbell, Caleb Campbell, Simeon Campbell, Timothy Campbell, and Jackson Little; her two granddaughters, Harper Little and Journey Little; her siblings, Larry Parisot, Gigi Schatza, Dan Parisot, and Bob Parisot; and her former husband, Andrew Lynch.
A funeral service honoring Julie's life will be held on April 22, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m.
Julie will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and her unending ability to make everyone around her feel at home. To know her was to be loved by her. She will be missed beyond measure.
