Julie Ann Shaw-Smith, 71, of Chandler, TX passed away on December 31, 2025. Julie was born on October 10, 1954, to Pete and Dorothy McElwaine in Corona, CA. She worked at H&R block as a tax preparer for 30 years. Julie was a hard worker and had loyal customers because of her service; many driving from miles away to get her to do their taxes. On January 16, 2016, she married Charles Ray Smith, and they have spent a loving 10 years together. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos when she wasn’t working. Her most precious time was spent with her family, she was a beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Her mother Dorothy, stepfather Edgar Lloyd Wilson and father Pete preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Charles; children: Cassie De Leon and husband Gerardo, Ed Smith and wife Crystal, Mark Smith and wife Damien; grandchildren: Madison Smith and Taylor Smith, numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
