Julie Crawford Thomas

A visitation for Mrs. Julie Crawford Thomas, age 65 of Millerville, will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. a private internment will take place at Millerville Community Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Thomas passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born in Florida and spent her childhood moving to different states due to her father's military service. She worked in the Healthcare industry for the majority of her working career, specifically in the behavioral and mental healthcare systems, with her last job being in Clearwater, Florida. She ultimately moved back to Millerville around 2008. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed going out on the boat, being at the beach, fishing, and playing computer games in her spare time. She had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed listening to classic rock music. Mrs. Thomas loved spending time with her family, and being with her daughter, nephews, and great nieces-and nephews.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter, Brittany Peters; her father, Terry Crawford Sr. (Atrice), both of Millerville; two nephews: Brinton Crawford (Marcia) of Millerville and Clayton Crawford (Samatha) of New Site; her great-nieces and nephews: Marcia, Julia, Sebastian, McKenzie, and Elizabeth.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Faye Mann Crawford; and her brother, Terry Dale Crawford Jr.
