Julie Lynn Vaughn, 47, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, in Melbourne, Arkansas.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 11, 1975, daughter of Bobby Glenn Barnett and Cheryl A. Ashford. Julie was a graduate of Izard County Consolidated School and completed EMT training. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3431 in Horseshoe Bend. Julie enjoyed staying at home, cooking, plants, gardening, and watching scary movies. She loved her family and always loved spending time with them.
Julie is survived by her significant other, J.R. Ennis of Melbourne, Arkansas; father, Bob (Connie) Barnett of Paris, Arkansas; mother, Cheryl Williams of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; son, Dustin Macrae Bookout of Ash Flat, Arkansas; daughters, Jessica Rhoades of South Carolina and JoAnna Rhoades of South Carolina; brothers, Robert (Misty) Barnett of Paris, Arkansas, Braze (Stephanie) Barnett of Paris, Arkansas, Jason Knight and Jamie Knight; sister, Amy (Jerry) Lenex of Glencoe, Arkansas; stepsister, Jodi Williams of Des Moines, Iowa and grandmother, Mary Lou Sample of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lanny Williams.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
