Julius Bertoni, 88, of Harrison city, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born on July 18, 1937, the son of the late Joseph and Nancy Bertoni.
In addition to his parents, Julius was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Bertoni who passed away on December 14, 2024.
Julius will be deeply missed by his children Daniel (Lisa) Bertoni and Joseph Bertoni, both of Harrison City. Brother Bill Bertoni of Plum. Grandchild, Michael (Kara) Bertoni. Nieces and Nephews, David Bertoni, Chris Bertoni, Mark DeFabio, Maria DiNatale, and many more.
In addition to his work as a commercial electrician, Julius was a devout member of St. Barbra's Catholic Church and an avid member of both the Italian Sons & Daughters of America and IBEW Local 5 Electrical Union. Julius's claim to fame was installing all the lights on the top of PPG tower and many other projects across Pittsburgh.
Family and friends will be received from 4pm-8pm on Tuesday August 12, 2025, at the Vaia Funeral Inc., 463 Athena Dr. Delmont, (724-468-1177). A mass will be held at 1pm Wednesday August 13, 2025, at St. Barbaras Church, in Harrison City. Everyone is to meet at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to a charity of one's choice.
