June Irene Bache passed away July 28, 2025, at the age of 97. A lifetime resident of Santa Rosa, June was born to Lewis and Irene Bertoni in 1927. June was very proud of her strong Italian heritage being the first generation to be born in America. She was raised with wonderful Italian traditions she carried throughout her life. Through her life she experienced much loss, losing her husband and both of her children. This gave her much strength however and she always acted with grace and dignity. June had a great sense of humor, was honest and determined. She loved square dancing, card games, singing and puzzles. Her family recalls her being the original Uber, driving everyone where they needed to go. For many years, June worked as a crossing guard getting safely to and from school each day.
June is survived by her nieces and nephews Kathy lance, Lorraine Delucchi, Nick Bastoni and Ron Bertoni, grandchildren Ashley Covington, Chelsea Pultz, Brandon Bache, Alyssa Bache, Stacie Bache and Katie Bache, and great granddaughter Rogue Pultz.
Visitation hours will be held at Daniels Chapel of the Roses on Saturday, August 23 from 1:00 -5:00 pm. Private interment Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
