June Blevins Obituary
Together Always
June Rose Blevins, age 92, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2024. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Rittman, OH to the late Edward and Nellie Hughes.
June enjoyed participating in high school sports growing up. She loved doing wordsearch books, playing Bingo, and was great at crafting and seamstress work.
Preceded in death by husband, James Blevins; siblings, Donald Edward Hughes, Viola E. Zook, and David Byron Hughes.
She is survived by daughter, Cynthia Platz (nee Woodward); stepson, Richard L. Blevins of Greensburg, PA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sister, Beulah Mae Towler; special friends, Maryland Humble and Kenda Doyle; and grandpup, Graycie.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St, Wadsworth, OH 44281 with Pastor Zac Derr officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth. Family will receive friends Monday from 4-6 PM. Memorials may be made to The Chapel in Wadsworth or American Cancer Society.
