June Louise Canney, 88, of Milton, New Hampshire, passed away on November 16, 2025, peacefully in her sleep after a long and fulfilling life.
June was born in Rochester, NH on June 2, 1937, the daughter of Charles H. and Marion L. (Lessard) Walbridge.
She attended schools in Milton, NH and the Shepherd-Gill School of Nursing in Boston, MA, and trained at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. She worked many years as a licensed practical nurse at Davidson Rubber in Farmington, NH, and at Dr. Richard Lord's office. She also worked at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH, Medical Records Department and Quality Improvement at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH.
June found her greatest joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She tended her gardens with patience and care, nurturing each bloom as lovingly as she did the people around her. Time spent with family was precious to her, and she treasured every gathering, big or small. June also had a talent for crocheting. Some of her happiest days were those spent "up north" in Pittsburg, NH, a place she loved for its quiet beauty.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Paul A. Perron, and by her husband, William Canney, and her grandson, Jason Happ.
Surviving family includes: her son- Jeremiah Perron of VA, two daughters- Denise Happ of Rochester, NH, and Marion McIntire (and her husband, Stephen) of Milton, NH. Grandchildren- Jessica Happ, Joy Coleman and Megan O'Connor (and their spouses). Great grandchildren- Elizabeth Dameron, Nicholas Coleman, and Savannah O'Connor. Stepchildren- Lisa, Lori and Dale Canney, and four step grandchildren and many step great grandchildren.
At her request there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private.

We are so sorry to hear of June´s passing. She was our nurse at Davidson Rubber and by far an extremely delightful lady. Cherish the memories as they last a lifetime.
