June Taylor Isaac Fox passed away peacefully at Peak Resources Alamance in Graham, North Carolina on February 15, 2025. June was born on March 5, 1947 to the late Alma Glover and Roland Fox in Chatham County North Carolina. He was a proud graduate of Chatham High School in 1967.
He was employed by Carolina Poultry/ Townsend as a third shift supervisor for thirty-nine years. June joined Pine Hill United Church of Christ at an early age and proudly took all of his positions at the church to heart as a Deacon, Trustee, Landscaper and Custodian. He would stop at nothing to make sure all matters at the church were taken care of no matter the weather or time of day until he became too ill to continue.
Outside of spending time at the church, June loved to workout in the yard at home doing his own version of landscaping, watching Westerns on tv for hours until he fell asleep. Playing with his grandkids, and driving his red 1966 Ford Pickup truck even if it was just for the short distance picking up his grandsons from the end of the road.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Vann, and Mark Foxx.
June leaves to cherish his wife of forty-two years, Alyease Fox; his one and only daughter, Latoya Fox; one step-son Jeffrey Alston (Cheryl), the love of his life; three grandsons, Jakari Blue, Dylan Tate, Landyn Tate; a granddaughter, Taryn Hartgrave (Neal); four great-grandchildren, Kenzlei, Karter, Caylin, and Camdeyn; one sister Peggy Foxx; one sister-in-law Lorraine Fox. He also leaves a host of other family and friends.
Fly high June, and get your rest, for we all loved you, but God loves you best!
