June Stein Ivey
April 26th, 1936 - September 3rd,2025
Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother June Ivey passed away peacefully surrounded by family, the morning of September 3rd, 2025 in Round Rock, TX.
She was born in San Antonio, TX on April 26th, 1936 and later adopted by Ms. Lilian “Nandy” Stein. June, a woman who lived a life of faith, kindness and joy, devoted many years as a beloved pre-school teacher for the Methodist Church, nurturing the young minds and hearts of the children she taught. Her gentle spirit and love for children left a lasting impact on generations of family and friends.
Outside the classroom, June found joy in tending to her garden, which reflected her tender yet vibrant personality, which was always blooming. A passionate traveler, she explored the world with her husband Roger and their travel group of friends, collecting stories and memories.
A true hostess at heart, June always welcomed others into her home. Her kitchen table was surrounded by laughter, faith-filled conversations, and the aroma of her home-made chocolate cake with white icing. She believed in the power of community, and her hospitality was a ministry all its own.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Roger Ivey Sr, Son Roger W. Ivey Jr. and son Paul D. Ivey. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lindsay Howard, Isha Lyon, Troy Ivey and their spouses, great-grandchildren Chloe Howard, Madison Mousseau and Raelynn Ivey.
A celebration of life will be held at Ash Lane United Methodist Church at 1001 W. Ash Lane, Euless TX 76039 at 10:00am on Thursday September 11th, 2025 with her final resting place to be at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
