June Lanier Obituary
June K. Lanier, age 91, passed away on April 17, 2024 at her home in DeKalb Co., GA. She graduated from Rabun Gap Nacoochee School and attended Georgia State Univ. Prior to the birth of her first child she worked for Trust Company of Georgia. She devoted her life to raising her boys and looking after the family. She was predeceased by her parents, her son, James L. Lanier and many relatives and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Lanier, Jr.; her son, Thomas L. Lanier, IV (Lisa); and by first cousins and their families, Linda Cleveland (Roy), Billy Cox (Kathy), Rose Donaldson (Jimmy), Venita Ellington (Bob), John Harold King, and the descendants of Newell King.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Rabun Gap Nacoochee School or the charity of your choice.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1832 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA 30096.
