June Maddox Obituary
October 7, 1957 - August 2, 2025
On a rainy night in Georgia, June Elaine Maddox, 67, entered the glorious sunshine of God's eternal morning. She was the daughter of Paul and Stella Maddox. She was born in Savannah and was a lifetime resident of Savannah.
June was the last surviving member of her family, but she leaves behind her beloved Chapel family. She was a retired teacher at Calvary Day School. She was the mainstay of the music program at Chapel by the Sea as well as the Media Director for Chapel's broadcast ministry and booklet production.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday evening, August 24th at 6:30 P.M. at Chapel by the Sea Baptist Church on Tybee Island.

I was so heartbroken to hear of June's passing. I taught with her at Calvary years ago. She was an awesome person and teacher! She had the most contagious laugh, a great sense of humor, and a pure heart of gold. She will forever be loved and missed.
