June Hastings was born in Denver on June 7, 1930. Her parents, John and Anita Hastings, had one other daughter, Annabell. June has lived in Denver and Littleton all of her life. After graduating from West High School, she married Donald Metsker in August 1950. They had three children: David, Carol and Vickie. After 49 years of marriage, Donald passed away in January 2000. David married Karen (sons Matthew and Michael). Carol married Long (son Duane). Vickie married Gene (sons Jordan and Preston). Altogether, June has five grandchildren.
A visitation for June will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery.
