June Phyllis Adams Moody, 87 passed away on December 20, 2024 at home in New Durham after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, surround by her loved ones.
June was born on October 23, 1937, to Edgar and Verna Adams in New Durham, NH where she resided most of her life.
She was widowed twice, first husband Walter Bouchie, and second husband Lance Moody.
June graduated from Alton High School in 1956. After leaving school she worked in various shoe shops in the area, as well being a waitress. She worker for Palmer and Chenard for many years, she went to work with the Strafford County Homemakers until she retired.
She was an active member of her church and was a member of the 7 Degrees of the Grange.
She loved all things western, animals, going to the fairs, she was an avid reader and doing puzzles along with other hobbies.
June was predeceased by her sisters Norma Grace and Mary Russell one brother Alvah "Bud" Adams.
She is survived by her sister Joan Garland.
The Lord never blessed her with children, but she was deeply loved by her 19 nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. She will be forever missed by all of them.
Arrangements: A Graveside Service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Cornerstone Visiting Nurses Association, 178 Farmington Rd, Rochester, NH 03867. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, Bosacwen.
