June L. Passmore

June Louise Passmore, age 78 of Genesee passed away at her home on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Born May 31, 1947 in Potter Brook, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Ethelyn (West) Bowers. June retired from the Dresser Rand after 33 years of service as a machinist. She was an avid Trump supporter and news watcher. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, spoiling her cat, Mateo and feeding the neighborhood cats, winning at the casino, playing games on her tablet, thrift store shopping and talking with friends and family. June always had fond memories of her time spent on Keuka Lake when she was younger. She didn't care for cooking but loved to eat and truly appreciated the cooks. Her heart was always filled with love that she would share with anyone. She is survived by her children, Gary (Cathy) Bowers and Michelle (Craig Emmons) Passmore; grandchildren, Jenell Burdick, Gary Bowers, Jr., Jason (Chelsea) Bowers and Stephanie (Kyle) Wittie; great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Alexia, Ryleigh, Austin, Landon, Thorin, Rowan, Hallie, and Aislinn; great great grandson, Loki; sister, Kay Sweet and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger and Walter "Bud" Bowers, infant John and brother in law, Paul Sweet. A Celebration of June's Life will be held at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Sunday, June 15th at 2:00PM with Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating.
