Jim Edward Bennett, age 67 of Osceola, PA passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on March 17, 1958 in Corning, NY and was a son to the late Seymour John and Marie Zinc (Fry) Bennett. On May 19, 2000 Jim married Nancy Jo Davis in Addison, NY, spending 25 loving years together building a family. In 2023 Jim retired as a machine operator at Siemen's Energy after working for 45 years. Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, granddad and great-granddad. He loved spending time with his family and his beloved dog, "Jethro Bodine Meathead" any chance he had. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, going fishing with his buddies, and watching old westerns and gaming shows, like Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. It was said that Jim was a very hardworking and proud man.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Jo Bennett; children, Michelle Causer of Osceola, PA, Jamie (Zack) Piker of Arkansas, Tonya (Jeff) Konopski of Bath, NY, James Causer III of Osceola, PA, David (Jennifer) Causer of Westfield, PA, Joseph Bennett of Erie, PA, Christina Causer (Peter Brasington Jr.) of Liberty, NY and Jessica Bennett Allen (Anthony Jr.) of Wellsville, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Alan Bennett of Knoxville, PA; brother-in-law, Wallace Kemp of Osceola, PA; and a few nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Melanie Kemp.
Per Jim's wishes, no services are to be held. He will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Elkland, PA. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Paradise Garden Animal Haven, 598 Kent Hill Rd, Woodhull, NY 14898. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc.
