Hazel Arlene Price, age 93 of Knoxville passed away at home on Monday, September 29, 2025. Born December 24, 1931 in Troy, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Velma (Forest) Patterson. Arlene graduated in 1949 from Williamson High School. She married Jerald "Judd" Price on June 6, 1964 and they shared 61 years together. She worked at Olson Tenglund and Price's Auto Store, ran on the ice cream truck with Judd and was Knoxville Borough tax collector for many years. Arlene was a 50 year plus member of the Eastern Star, lifetime member of the Knoxville Deerfield Volunteer Fire Company and Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Knoxville VFW and Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, camping, catering where she was known for her baked beans and she loved to dance. She is survived by her husband, Judd; children, Timothy Lynn (Deb) Whitney of Patterson, GA, Cindy (Ed) McHenry of Knoxville, Marian (Tom) Butler of Coudersport and Gordon (Karie) Price of Knoxville; grandchildren, Cathy Jo Ream, Bobbi Jo Allen, Jason Allen, Thomas L. Butler and Kendra Price; great grandchildren, Alexandria Arlene Rodriguez, Gilbert Jake Mathews, Dylon and Tanner Kizis, River Price and Ellie Patelunas; 5 great great grandchildren; brother, Donald Patterson of Painted Post and numerous nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcella Irene Whitney Allen and her siblings, Geraldine Lehman, Eddie, Richard and Leonard Patterson, Sharon Loucks and Peggy Patterson. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St, Elkland on Thursday, October 2nd from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Knoxville Deerfield Volunteer Fire Company, 107 Case St., Knoxville, PA 16928 or to the Knoxville VFW, 703 Boatman Rd., Knoxville, PA 16928.
