Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home & Crematory - Cuyahoga FallsJune Marie Meech (Phillips), 77, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed February 5, 2026. She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. She was a graduate of North High School and went on to run her own daycare. She was an avid reader and loved traveling with her husband in their RV. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren, never missing a sporting event or concert.
She married the love of her life, James, and together they shared 53 beautiful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith, and family. June was a devoted mother to their three children, Scott Meech (Lorah), Eric Meech (Heather), and Kristen Myers (Zach), who were her greatest pride.
Above all else, June was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren - Sarah Snodgrass (Tyler), Luke Meech, Aaron Meech, John Myers, Jimmy Myers, Joey Myers, and Jake Myers - whose laughter and love brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her sisters Susie Hackim and Nancy Eggers (Bob), and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Meech, her parents, Richard and Phyllis Phillips, and her brother, Donald Phillips.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where all who knew and loved June are welcome to celebrate her life and legacy.
