June Power Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 5, 2026.
June Baltis Power passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 94.

Mom, aka Nana, aka June, was loved by so many. She had a great sense of humor and always had people laughing. She was an educator/teacher to many young lives. She valued education and made sure the people in her life, not only her own children but anyone who came into her life, had the opportunity to go to school by encouraging them and even financially supporting them when needed. She was always there for family, friends, & neighbors. She made sure they had rides to appointments, church, lunch, or bridge when needed. She volunteered her time at hospitals, food pantries, & church. She loved animals and she donated funds to many organizations from animals to cancer research. She loved dancing, playing bridge, cards, puzzles, crosswords, & board games. She is in heaven dancing with her sweet heart now. She put others first & left a legacy that will be remembered. She will be missed & lovingly remembered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Baltis, Sr. of Kansas City, MO & her mother, Marthe Julie (Beauchet) Baltis of Chaource, France; husband Jerry Donald "Don" Power; son, David Edward Power of Gainesville, GA. Brothers, George Baltis, Gary Baltis, Jr., John Robert ("Bob") Baltis, Jacques Baltis; two sisters, Joyce Lott of Overland Park, Kansas; Helene Jault of Jeugny, France; She is survived by her daughter Kathy & Joe Anglin of Flowery Branch, GA; her grandsons, Gabe & Grant Anglin of Flowery Branch, Georgia; her sister Jacqueline Natsch of Jefferson City, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
